As a board-certified plastic surgeon, and the only oral surgeon and plastic surgeon in Canada, Dr. Adibfar believes that internal wellness is directly linked to physical appearance, and he works with all his patients to make sure that they achieve both internal and external results. He has dedicated his life to helping his clients fight the inevitable signs of aging to help preserve the balance between internal satisfaction and external appearance for optimal balance of mind, body and spirit.

Education

Dr. Adibfar’s academic and professional achievements are extensive. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Toronto in 1990. In 1998, he became a Doctor of Medicine at the Medical College of Virginia. By 2003, Dr. Adibfar became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada in Plastic Surgery.

Post-Graduate Training and Achievements

Following this, Dr. Adibfar has completed multiple postgraduate internships and residencies, including Dental Internship at Toronto Mount Sinai Hospital, Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Residency at the Detroit Medical Center, General Surgery Residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital, Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery Residency at Vanderbilt University Hospital, and Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery Residency at University of Toronto.

Memberships

Dr. Adibfar is a widely recognized cosmetic surgeon in Toronto, and across the country. He was elected to become a member of the prestigious Canadian Society of Plastic Surgeons and Ontario Society of Plastic Surgeons.

Dr. Adibfar is also a member of the The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. Other professional society memberships include the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario, Canadian Medical Association, Ontario Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, The Royal College of Dentists of Canada, Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario, and Canadian Dental Association.
